Still cold but NO COLDS! All better!

Hey~The Pond Family is back on the healthy train again!  (hopefully for a while!)

Mommy found some pictures from Christmas that I wanted to show you all!

This is a REAL icicle!  The only ones I've seen that were
this big were plastic, light up ones!!  Ha!  Way cool!

Just Hang'in Around

Hey guys!  The weather has calmed down a little bit here!  No snow for at least two weeks!  It's still really cold though.  In the mornings we usually have a -10 to -20 degree wind chill so Mommy makes sure to bundle us up well!

Today Daddy came to our school and read to both of our classes!  We had a special Daddy Daughter breakfast before at McDonalds! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Everyone has been sick with fevers or a stomach bug for almost two weeks too.  It's been crazy!  Ben and Mommy are the only ones who haven't gotten sick!  Guess Mommy has some super fight-off sickies genes in her body and Ben's just too cute to get sick!

So we've just been hang'in around lately!  Love you ALL!

We had a wonderful Christmas in our new house!  Santa did good!  

We even had snow on the ground so technically, it was a White Christmas!! 

The girls got cool book lights and they have been reading a TON! 

Kiley is reading better and better everyday!  It's amazing to see!

Ice Skating

We HAD to post pictures of our FIRST time Ice Skating!  Kiley and I went with some 

of our school friends.  We had a half day of school Friday so after our 

classroom Christmas parties we went to the ice rink! 

  

Lucky for us they had cool "walker" thingys that helped us from falling down!  I gained a lot of confidence over time and even stopped using it for a little bit!  

Kiley was little Miss Daredevil with AND without the "walker!"

We liked it so much we thought we'd try roller skating the very next day! 

 Mommy said she was still SORE from yesterday, but OK!  

 

Ben's first try didn't go so well, but by the second time around he started to LOVE it! 

 He even had a "walker" too!  

And other news.....Kiley had ANOTHER tooth knocked out by a sibling!!  Me!! 

 (by accident of course!~)

AND....

Ben loves to suck on toothbrushes so BEWARE if you are an overnight guest!!  

Also, in Missouri they hang their Christmas trees upside down.  Who knew?!!!!

Visit from the FAM

This weekend we had a great visit with Mimi, Papa and Aunt Laura!  (It's me Mallory)

Here they come!!



 

It even snowed a little for them!! 

Ben loved to play "ball" with Papa and hide and seek!
 And Daddy loved to play Don't Break the Ice with Pops too!

 

Mommy got lots of sister time and so did I!  :)  We love our sisters!

 

We had our FIRST fire in the fireplace!  "Santa" came early to enjoy it too!

We drove to downtown Kansas City to see the lights at The Plaza.
It was cloudy and cold! 





 Then we went to Union Station to see all the model train sets!!
 "Choo Choo" says Ben!

OH, before I forget!  Kiley and I had our Holiday Extravaganza at school on
December 7! We sang songs, ate pancakes and had fun with our friends!
